Are You Suffering From Chronic Sinusitis Symptoms? Dr. Bublik Offers Immediate and Lasting Relief

Sinusitis affects over 35 million Americans annually and although medications may help most people, there are still many that require additional procedures for relief of their symptoms. Sinusitis is inflammation or swelling of the tissue lining of the sinuses and affects people of all ages. Normally, sinuses are filled with air, but when sinuses become blocked and filled with fluid, germs can grow and result in an infection.

Dr. Bublik is triple board certified in otolaryngology, allergy, and facial plastics. He often sees patients who have suffered from sinusitis for years with constant sinus pain and pressure, tenderness and swelling over the affected sinus, nasal obstruction that impairs breathing through the nose, and headaches. Most patients have tried unsuccessfully to get effective relief with the use of nasal sprays, steroids, antibiotics, room humidifiers, decongestants, antihistamines and pain relievers. Patients report that their symptoms adversely affect the quality of their lives and prevent them from fully enjoying their families and careers.
For those patients who have been unable to find relief with other treatments, Dr. Bublik has found that Balloon Sinuplasty offers patients suffering from chronic sinusitis symptoms immediate and lasting relief. Often referred to as “angioplasty for the nose,” Balloon Sinuplasty is a safe and effective endoscopic procedure used for the treatment of chronic sinusitis.

In Office Balloon Sinuplasty For Relief Of Chronic Sinusitis

  1. Dr. Bublik performs Balloon Sinuplasty in his office using local anesthesia. Balloon Sinuplasty does not require incisions and cutting or the removal of bone and tissue. There is generally less pain, risk of infection, blood loss, bruising and swelling and many patients are often able to return to their normal activities in less time than they would from traditional “open” sinus surgery.Guided by an endoscopic visualization system, which is a small high-definition endoscope, Dr. Bublik inserts a thin flexible catheter through the patient’s nostril into affected areas expanding and gently parting the tissue to remove blockage. The procedure is fast, there is minimal bleeding, and recovery is typically under two days.

If you suffer from chronic sinusitis symptoms and would like to learn if you can benefit from Balloon Sinuplasty, please contact Dr. Bublik’s office for an appointment.  His caring and attentive staff will find a convenient time for you to meet with Dr. Bublik for an evaluation to determine if Balloon Sinuplasty is the right option to bring you the relief you have been seeking for so long.
